In 2007 alone, the Big Bear Municipal Water District along with the Department og Fish and Game stocked over 160,000 pounds of Rainbow Trout and Catfish. Big Bears current Record for Rainbow Trout tips the 16 pound scale.
As with any large lake, if your not familiar with were the fish are biting, it's best to get some inside info. that will save you valuable time once your ready to go fishing.
